PEDAGOGICAL CONTENTS
1. Teaching Methods of the teacher I observed
I had the opportunity to observed the class of Mr. Marcelo in Grade 10. I noticed that he uses his artistic talent in music to hook the interest of the students. Upon opening a lesson Mr. Marcelo plays a guitar and encourages students to sing along with him. Through this strategy, he was able to break the ice, and finally, students would be able to feel less anxious and pressured.

2. Learning Materials and Innovation
During my class observation, the teachers used mixed instructional materials. They use both traditional and digital instructional materials. The teacher also integrates the use of technology inside the classroom. He connects his tablet to smart TV. I also noticed that they don't allow students to use their mobile phones so they can focus on the teacher and topic. But they have a computer laboratory where students can use it. I am also amazed at the board they are using. It could be a whiteboard and a blackboard at the same time. When the board is closed it can be used as a Whiteboard, when it is flipped open it can be used as a Chalkboard. In this instance, we can see the innovation, they are really resourceful.

3. Sources of learning and technology used by the teachers
In Mr. Marcelos class he started the lesson by adding melody to his introduction he uses his talent in music to catch the attention of the students. He made the learning process very fun and less pressure. Then he used his tablet and connects it to the TV. He presents a PowerPoint presentation about the topic that they focused on during that day. He based his lesson on the student's book and workbook, which they used Cambridge Complete Preliminary for Schools. I found this approach very fun and interesting, because I can see the reaction and the willingness of the students to learn. As a teacher, it is really effective if we'll make the learning environment conducive.


4. Authentic assessment used by the teachers.
During Mr. Marcelos class, authentic assessment took place when he proceeded to his production. The students were task to write a dialogue, if they want to propose a club in their school what would that be. So, Mr. Marcelo used the real-life scenario and task them to write a dialogue about it, and later they acted it out. Each students had the chance to speak and participate in the class. This activity shown an authentic assessment and instill long-life learning within the students.
