TEACHING PLAN

It is indeed different from what I expected. We've used different lesson plan formats. Back in the Philippines, we used 4As in our university; however, we adapted to the curriculum of Vietnam and the school's lesson plan format. I used 3PS, which is easier to follow.

Also, I kind of freak out at first because we only have a short period of time to prepare and contextualize a plan for our demo. It became a challenge for me since back in the Philippines our teachers gave us enough time to prepare for the teaching demo. As well as it challenges my resourcefulness. It is really hard to create learning materials because we don't have enough available materials, but I didn't let that become a hindrance for me to have a good lesson. I challenge my creativity and produce activities that the students will find enjoyable. And, I could say that every demo I had was successful.

Of course, thanks to our supervisor Mr. Thuy for being patient and accommodating. Whenever I asked for feedback even if it was late midnight he still responded and shared his expertise.

When it comes to crafting lesson plans it became quite challenging at my end. Because English is a foreign language in Vietnam. So, we must design our lesson cautiously. We must plan it less complex and easy for the students. Even in the execution of the lesson, we must avoid using deep vocabulary. Words that are simpler the better. And must aim the objective of the lesson. That's why I crafted my lesson plan simple, direct to the point, and fun. Because this is the only way for the students to grasp and learn the lesson easily.

So, in my first demo, I aimed to assess the student's English level to make my lesson meet and give the needs of the students.

Even in the short period of time crafting and designing my lesson plan. I was still able to produce 4 lesson plan and teaching demo.

For your reference, here are the lesson plans I designed based on the given topic or lesson.

Join me in my world of victories as we set off on this triumphant journey together!
