Future School
Trường Tương Lai
Đồng Tháp, Cao Lãnh, Vietnam
Practicum School
Future school is the location of our practicum school. It is actually a private school. It is located in Cao Lanh City as well. This school consist of four level categories. Starting from Kindergarten (6 months), Primary School (grades 1-5), Secondary School (grades 6 - 9), lastly, High School (grade 10-12). They also have 6 period classes in a day.
The school offers foreign language such as English and German. I also notice that they introduced English language since first grade. I was also shocked that students in primary school can communicate using the English language. I could say that this school is well facilitated, they have elevators in each building. The rooms are air conditioned and well ventilated. I also found it amazing that students and teachers are required to remove their shoes when entering classroom, must be the cultures.
The school also has a swimming pool for the kids. The first time I saw the kids swimming, I found them very cute and they're going swimming. They are really accommodating; they continuously waived their hands until we passed by.

The school has an academic support system that develops students holistically. The curriculum structure nurtures students' cognitive, affective, and psychomotor domains through its well-designed and structured curriculum. In addition, teachers employed inclusive, conducive, and differentiated instruction to make sure that students' needs were met. As well as the school has different extracurricular activities that students may utilize to improve and match their multiple intelligence skills. These activities are good for the Physical, mental, spiritual, and emotional health of the students.
Moreover, the teaching approaches at the Future School are determined by; technology integration, teachers made sure that in every class they had technology was present. They used different software that made the class interactive and enjoyable. Next, in continuous practice, the teachers deliberately ask questions that require active participation. Through this students gained confidence and self-esteem to share and express their opinions.
Lastly, community engagement and service to fellowmen are present. Teachers, parents, and students have involvement in community service. This practice is actually great for making sure that students have social and community duties as well. This practice may also lead to fostering lifelong learning. Through this students may prepare themselves to face real-world challenges and tribulations. Instilling lifelong learning may help students to get prepared for these challenges discover problems and solutions by themselves and challenge their problem-solving and decision making.
